We here at Book of Change are now running a "contest" of sorts. With the comic getting ready to start back up (again, probably sometime in January) and with the Prologue coming to an end soon after, we need creatures to appear in Chapter 1. For those who read the Book of Change scripts that were up on my Deviantart, you know that we will be introducing a race of creatures called "Nightmares" in the next chapter. For those who didn't, well, now you know :P

Anyway, we need ideas for the Nightmares. They need to be nasty monsters. Scary, dangerous, and grotesque. So, we would like to ask for any of you to send in your descriptions, drawings, etc. of a Nightmare of your own design. 4 grand winners will get their Nightmare posted in the webcomic at some point in chapter 1, and may have their Nightmare become a regular in the series. So, feel free to send them in, simply post your description, a link to the art, or whatever you can do into the comic (on Smack Jeeves) entitled "Nightmare Contest". Guests are free to join as well, you can post in the comments as well, but if you don't have a Smack Jeeves account, please give us a username (or real name) to use should you win.

We've moved back to Comic Genesis (for now). Smack Jeeves is proving to have a few faults we cannot get passed. Due to this, we may have to convert to Comic Genesis. If so, there will be a news post placed on both site. For now, however, we do not anticipate a full move, though we may run both sites at the same time to try and bring it readers. At current, Book of Change's artist is TR, and we hope for him to stay with us. You will notice our update schedule has not been consistant, but this is due to the fact that TR is currently busy. However, he has assured me that he wishes to stick with it, and so Book of Change will continue to update again when we have a buffer.
